Jerry K. John, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant who developed a special interest in dermatology because of his own struggle growing up with eczema. He also has a special interest in seeing patients for skin cancer and mole checks, acne, psoriasis, rashes, dandruff/seborrheic dermatitis, warts, and skin tag removal. He enjoys educating patients about the importance of skin health and skin cancer prevention, and is committed to providing the highest level of patient-focused care for individuals and families. His formal education and training include:
- Northwestern College (Orange City, IA) – MS, Physician Assistant Studies
Jerry is licensed to practice in the state of Texas and board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). He is a member of the following professional organizations: American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Texas Academy of Physician Assistants (TAPA), Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), American Association of Surgical Physician Assistants (AASPA), Texas Dermatological Society (TDS), Medical Dermatology Society (MDS), Society for Pediatric Dermatology (SPD), and Skin of Color Society (SOCS).
In his spare time, Jerry loves spending time with his family, traveling, being active in church, and learning guitar. He can also be seen performing on the drumlines for the Dallas Mavericks and the FC Dallas teams.
